Nevado's new breeding program can save you a lot of money!

We've all heard how live cover produces the best results.  Well Nevado's track record is excellent when it comes to old fashion breeding.

Since 2000, Nevado has produced a mare in foal on the first live cover 85% of the time.   A second live cover 12% of the time and a third live cover for the remaining 3% of all mares.  Our clients can share with you their personal experience regarding Nevado's success rate.  

With the economy and living costs escalating, we thought a new program such as this one would be very attractive to breeders.   This is how the program works:

You and your vet get the mare ready for live cover.

You culture and monitor the mare for optimum timing.

When the mare is ready to be bred, she is delivered to the stallion's location.

The stallion covers the mare for a breeding fee of $850.  (Note - If the mare requires a second cover during the same heat cycle, that is included in the $850 price.)

Your vet checks her and if she's pregnant, that's all you pay!   Just $850!  

If the mare is not pregnant, you pay an additional $750 for a second heat cycle cover.   And for the 3% of mares that require 3 tries, you pay an additional $650 for a third heat cycle cover.  (Remember if the mare can be covered a second time during the same heat cycle, that is not an additional price.)

Mares in foal have rebreeding rights the following year if there is a loss.  

Nevado has an excellent live cover track record.  And even if your mare falls into the 3% category, the amount you pay will still save you $1,250 from Nevado's normal breeding fee of $3,500.
